Good morning! :frow

Good morning Sharron, Tina, Bob and everyone!

Nice flaky white meat fish, doesn't have the same texture as sword fish but I like'em.
even being raised on the gulf in florida i never had sword fish, mostly we ate fresh water fish, bream, bass and such, in salt water , mullet, speckle trout, red fish, sheephead, drums and anything else we could catch with a cast net or line, never fished in the gulf, good child hood eating mostly off the "land"

They actually couldn't wait to get out of their cramped cage and start exploring. They were thrilled to find a cow pat! I was surprised at how happy they seemed. Hopefully they won't miss us too much until we get there. Their coop is the same so that should help them feel at home.

Here's our caravan - there's the kitchen leading to the sofas which turn into our bed (still have to figure that bit out). We have a TV to install which also plays DVDs so the kids will appreciate that on a wet day. My tiny fridge is to the right of the little gas oven (furthest away). I've got a good amount of bench space compared to some caravans though. Unfortunately the microwave won't work without mains power (we just have a solar panel) but we'll survive. And there's a gas heater to keep us cozy over winter. (Excuse the post rammer on the floor and the water tanks that are still to be put in place).

Opposite the kitchen is the bathroom which is a decent size considering. At the other end are the bunk beds and dining area. (Excuse the bin of chicken food and jars of oyster shell and seed treats).

The longer seat turns into another bed.

And here's the view out to the ocean:

It's lovely but always windy. I'll try and get a better photo with our big camera next time but I won't be able to download it soon.
Very nice Caravan and beautiful view in that last picture.

It has more pin feathers!
Are they like chickens where (some people say) the males develop more slowly than the females? If so looks like you have one of each given the younger one is more developed.

Is the post pounder so you can slam some rods into the ground to tie the caravan down so it doesn't blow to Australia?

Not that I've read. The younger one is always asking for food and seems to get the lions share. Some mutations you can tell what sex they are but with our pairing we can't. It'll be fun seeing what they turn out to be.

We're on the east coast so next stop would be Chile! We are going to put up a netting fence around the caravan to keep the cats and dog in. Our cats have always been indoor cats and with one being deaf we don't want them going too far. They can't stay cooped up in the caravan all the time though. I'm not so worried about the dog. She was out the front when DH came home today and he forgot to shut the gate. She didn't go anywhere though.

Sounds like you might need to put some netting over the top of your fenced area, cats climb fences readily I'm afraid.

One of them we'll have to assess whether she can escape. Her sister has arthritis so she barely makes it up on the bed these days, and our deaf cat is also half blind (she had really bad cat flu as a kitten - she was dumped at DH's work in a horrible condition) so unless she's got something solid and familiar to aim for she won't jump up. We are using waratahs for the posts and the mesh we've got is 6ft and it will have a bit of give so hopefully naughty Daisy won't feel the need to test it out. :fl

You guys might not call them 'waratahs' - maybe Y posts?
