DMC Best of luck with the water/snow melt :fl

KD I got my seeds finally started today, the pellets gave me fits too. There's a top and a bottom apparently, I did better with the second tray. The bottom is completely flat and sometimes you can see where it was pressed.

Afternoon everyone:frow

OK, got it, the bags need water added. I was thinking of those disc like things for soaking in a tray of water.

I know someone whose nose would have appreciated that feature.

I think there is some false advertising there on Ken's jacket, I'm pretty sure you were still in Wyoming ;)

Yep, my nose would have been most grateful! Every time we cruise Kennbuys a new Alaska jacket - or two! He really looks weird when he’s in his tux and then puts one of those jackets on for the drive to the event! He hangs his tux jacket in the back, but has in the trousers, the white shirt and formal tie, and his scruffy jacket. Class, all class!

Beautiful B, really beautiful! I think I saw some familiar looking landscape in your pictures. Fee, she's big & gorgeous!

She’s amazing! That drive is stunning, isn’t it? Just as Yellowstone was America’s first National Park, this highway between it and Cody was the first to be designated as a National Scenic Byway. Easy to see why!

Gorgeous photos @Blooie - it's so beautiful there. I love the elk. Fee is huge now. Will she get much taller do you think or is she pretty much grown?

I don’t think she’ll get much taller - she’s 14 months old now and they are usually done by 18 months or so. She just needs to fill out a bit.

Awesome pictures Blooie!

Thanks! It was a beautiful day until the snow clouds moved in!

Hubby is pumping water out of the back yard today or we’ll have water in our basement. He had to go buy a hose and of course it wasn’t long enough so he made do with other stuff he had here. I’m hoping to get some laundry done. He didn’t want me washing as our sewer pipe is under water. I sure hope we have a normal summer.

Oh, NO! How totally frustrating! How bad is it there? My family back is Sioux Falls is having a terrible time with the flooding there! I hope it subsides soon, for everyone!

Good morning, everyone! Last load of laundry is in and ready to pack when it comes out of the dryer, dusting is done, ran the robot over the floors, got burger out of the freezer to thaw for dinner (I can't wait to see what it grows up to be!) and the kitchen cleaned up after Ken "fixed" us breakfast. Yeah, when he's in the kitchen I end up fixing his messes.

So now some photos of Fee's first day out exploring. Don't expect much, as I said we didn't take her off the leash, but she loved every minute of it. Well, almost every minute - she wasn't real happy when she stuck her paws out of the back hatch just as it was about to close completely. She was laying down as the power hatch came down, and at the last second gave a big stretch. But the door did as it's designed to do and as soon as it made the slightest contact with an object (her feet) it immediately stopped and opened back up. So there was just a minor yelp from her and she was fine. But the next time she huddled way up against the back of the seat and stayed there. When I put her in I always tell her to "sit" and "wait", but Ken didn't do that - just opened the door and once she jumped in he hit the button. He knows better now, and so does she!

Anyway, some photos! There's no order to them, just random shots of the scenery, a buffalo, some Big Horn Sheep (and Fee starting at them from the side window and then the back window as we drove away) and Fee. I'll thumbnail them because there's so many. I love the one where she's got her head down trying desperately to reach that enticing elk poop right in front of her, at the side of the road! Ken didn't find it amusing. Remember that all of these photos were taken very close to Cody - I think the elk were about 10 miles from town and the sheep probably 15 or 20. The canyon of the North Fork is one of my very favorite places!
