The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

And that's one reason DH got out of the golf course biz when we were in Florida!
To give my next statement context, I should tell you I'm not a golfer (at least not seriously)... The golf crazies in Japan played on top of the snow in winter.

I know there are people that do that. But we have enough trouble getting people to behave and follow the rules in the summer...can only imagine what would happen with drunks & snow drifts. 911 anyone?

I worked at a resort when I was young and often bartender in the 19th Hole (golf bar) also have a degree in Agronomy with turf grass experiance. Always attended the trade show at Muirfield. Golfers are bat crap crazy in my opinion! And every experience I've ever had started with "hold my beer and watch this..."

I had an employee once who's brother worked at a local golf course. Seemed he was constantly digging holes fixing water leaks.

There's a fair share of that for sure Pert. Those humongous watering systems are a lot of upkeep.

Yep, bat crap crazy describes it pretty well.

Do you still hatch the Java Temple or Rice Birds? I think I learned from the last time that the brown ones were females and the gray, males. Who knows, I'm never sure

We do have one pair we've kept but they haven't had access to a nest box. The finches can't be in the aviary with the cockatiels which is why we are getting two aviaries. They've been stuck in cages poor things.

I was trying not to let any birds breed seeing as our life has been so chaotic and we knew we were moving. But the cockatiels snuck one past me.

Can Ursa come along for the ride? She might enjoy meeting Fiona
Can Bingo come too?
