My Pyrenees would catch rabbits and bring home roadkill. Plus the neighbor fed him scraps. He never pestered my rabbits though. Didn't eat much dog food.

I think they are definitely more foragers. Gator was always hunting chipmunks and other vermin too. Never ate any of them though but then again he was so big and slow he never really caught anything was hilarious watching him stalk rabbits though. Maybe it’s cause they often have to survive on their own out in the mountains or wilds? Or at least they used to??

Thank you DMC, today went fine. I got the restaurant inventory done and 2 big orders submitted. And called the refrigeration folks to come out, our big walk-in died (so no perishables for the place right now). That's enough for today, right?

Hey tomorrow won't be fun with the dentist but then I can hang out at home and chat with you guys all day!

been kinda slack on here lately, just depressed a little cause we have to go back to pa on the 5th of april, i have to go to my dr and find out why i'm bruised so bad, altho some of it seems to be going away, i know its not normal bruising, i'm wondering if its lymes disease

Doggone it Sharron, it's understandable why you're kind of down. Between going back to the chilly north and health concerns, that would certainly do it to me! I'll keep you in my thoughts and keep us posted so we know you're ok.

My Cockers never even noticed all the mice going by accompanied by frantic screaming (mine). They had swinging dog doors and liked to rest their head on the inner sill and watch the world go by. They didn't notice mice coming in or just didn't care.

thought i would tell y'all that so far husband has caught 4 or 5 cats and turned them over, still have another if not three more to go, its a shame that neighbor didn't make arrangement for the cats, he knew he only had so long before he died, the doctor told him two years ago, he only had two years left. the cats are the ones who had to suffer for his problems. course he never did really take care of them, he let them run free out side, no shots or vet visits, they were just a means to some money cause his tom didn't have a tail and he would sell the tail-less kittens for 80.00 each(all born outside)

Can't say here, what I would call that man. I'm surprised he didn't accept bets for what day he would die, and keep all the cash up till that point. Did he have any family to leave his possessions too?

we won't see any animal starve to death and no one else seems to care, neighbor had a room mate, hes still there but he doesn't feed them or they wouldn't come over here, we feed things here and they know it

All of the dog shows I did and win, I never once got a trophy - just ribbons! I’m jealous! (And yes, I still have them all)



Cut back on greens until you find out for sure what’s happening! I’m serious! We almost lost Ken’s best friend after he had a colonoscopy. Despite Jim stopping his blood thinners and aspirin, he had a major bleed out and was barely alive when the ambulance came. After it was all over, and he was able to be back on his meds, he was told in no uncertain terms to avoid leafy greens to reduce bleeding or some such thing.

Still coughing. Most of the trophies were for high in Trial. Had lots of ribbons, those are gone too.
