going to be a wet one i think, have to TRY to help husband, hes going to put down post for a retaining wall against the lake, old one is breaking apart thanks to time and beavers, we're never done such a thing before, went and rented a trash pump , should be interesting:lol:

I go in for a temporary crown on Tuesday also...guess we both get to have "fun" that day.

I've spent all day cleaning and sorting. We have the last inspection on Monday (to make sure everything is as it should be and we haven't been putting holes in the walls). Tomorrow (Sunday) is the day we will be taking most of the birds up to their new aviaries.

We'll keep Chilly, Hawkmoth and babies inside in a cage until Wednesday when we make the big move (with dog and cats and stuff - and kids - thankfully my parents will be helping too). I'm slightly nervous about leaving Chilly unattended while we are away all day, having moved them inside, but I'll put them in the room they used to be in so hopefully it will be familiar territory. Fingers crossed we won't come back to plucked babies. Our other pair will be a bit lonely for a few days but it is only for 3 days. Hopefully they'll forgive us and my sister and her kids will go up and check on them.

Not sure if I'll get a chance to take any photos of these little cuties tomorrow but here are some cute ones from today:

It's really happening now Jae! I hope once you get settled in the caravan you can relax, you've worked hard getting the house sold.

Cloudy, cool, maybe rain...I'm just trying to stay still and let this leg heal...started with the pain again, yesterday, had an x-ray done on it. Putting my socks on 'pulled' some muscles and made me say OUCH! :lol::hit
Got an appointment Monday but it doesn't appear by looking at the x-ray that there is any improvement as far as calcification of the fracture...still can see the fracture clearly. Don't know what's going to happen now? ... more surgery, idk?
Other than that I'm ok!
