I'll be careful with the drive (all 9/10ths of a mile).
If she sees what a mess everything is after DH & the maintenance guys have had free run of the place all winter, she might turn around and run! That might be a good thingI'll be careful with the drive (all 9/10ths of a mile).
Ran home for a quick break and bite to eat. Going to get to meet the bosses friend at 3pm today to see what she's like.If she sees what a mess everything is after DH & the maintenance guys have had free run of the place all winter, she might turn around and run!

Talk at ya L8tr.
thankfully, even though Franklin looks filthy and I thought he might need a bath, most of the dirt just fell off and with a little brushing, he looked good as new
also... it provides some more pictures for the “Frank eye” folder
I hear ya. My males are really turning on each other too. I've lost 2 and another 3 are close. Scrambling to get a bigger coop & run built.I did take it easy, that's why I didn't come back inside till 9:30pm.seem like every year about this time I have to juggle different birds around...overly aggressive males, injured the hens...lost 2 males and had to relocate 8 hens, some scalped, had to move inside the garage.

We're living parallel lives... one of my boys escaped and has taken up residence in my quonset. Until I get the new coop & run finished I'll just leave him be.Yeah, finally...haven't checked them this morning. One of my Reeves escaped but came back at dark...I found him and got him returned to the pen, one reason I was outside so late.
I don't feel like I managed to re-hurt anything, so all's well.
I've done a greased watermelon in the lake. That was tough enough. I can't imagine how difficult a pig would be.Was at a rodeo once where they had a greased pig race for the kids who wanted to participate. It was hilarious.
