My dad went 8 months, 'failure to thrive' before he passed away. Only thing he'd take in was water. Very sad time.

Cant like that my friend. It sounds like you got your toughness honestly, and from both sides of the family tree. I'm glad you can remember the good things too. I think that's how you honor them when they're gone.

Princess wants me to get a riding mower, but when I get to the point that I can no longer do the job with a walk behind I will hire someone to do the job. Right now it's great exercise for me.

My Dad used to do his own mowing. It got to where it took several days to do his postage stamp sized lot. Then he hired a guy to do it.
