Holy moly! You're lucky to not have a scratched cornea or worse! The bird is probably telling stories about being attacked by a floating orb that tried to knock her out and eat her head! :lau

Hubs got seriously pecked in the eyeball by his favorite pullet. She was on his shoulder and just looked him right in the eye and tried to eat it! His lens got scratched pretty good. Lesson learned!:hmm

the better half is doing great, can't keep a good man down for long, he's out trimming so he can mow tomorrow, son can't help and you know what they say about a boar and teets don't you? thats our only grandson:lau

found sunflower plants coming up in the garden and transplanted them this morning sour, really surprised,i planted tigereye sunflowers last year and didn't bother to cut the head off last year and some of the seeds fell on the ground when we pulled the dead plants out,
transplanted 15 seedlings and theres still more out there, also found a little dill coming up(i hate dill but it keeps coming up) and my mustard is coming back too from last year, i could have a garden without planting anything else, oh, forgot, it must be watermelon starting from last years melon too out there, the only thing i planted last year was watermelons and theres about a dozen plants coming up, if its not watermelons then:idunno

thats a good thing for both of you:D thought thats what must have happened to give you a black eye, i've never had a bird give me one but a horse, sheep, goat and a bug, son told husband when the bug gave me a swelled shut eye that its a good thing no cop was around or he would be arrested for abuse (sons a cop :lau)
