Good morning, O Mighty Friends Who Live In This Little Screen!
Well, now I have Kelsey anxiously watching her mailbox for a check!
Busy morning. After 5 years, I’ve finally talked Tam into a getting her hair cut! It’s been over 10 years since she’s even had a trim, and it is looking a little...um...well, bad. It’s down to her waist, and it’s super thick but it’s not pretty like that on her. It’s actually kinda scraggly at the bottom. She’s 50 years old - the time for pony tails and pigtails is long gone. And I needed mine cut again during this travel break, but I kind held off this month because the young lady who does my hair and used to do my lash extensions has been preparing for her hubby to leave on his second deployment to the Mid-East. Then he left last week, so then I wanted to make sure she had a little adjustment and crying time - I know I always needed that. But this morning at 8:30 is our appointment time. So as soon as I’ve had my morning tea I’ll hop in the shower, then go pick her up. Kinda funny. Cindy, the girl who cuts Evans’s hair, always teases Tam when she brings him in for his haircuts. “Aaand, are we doing you next, Tammy?” Nope! So when I called, Cindy answered and I made my appointment with Levae first, then asked Cindy if she’d be able to cut Tam’s at the same time. She literally squealed and yelled to the shop, “I finally get to cut Tam’s hair!” This is gonna be a big shock to her - and I told her since I’m paying it ain’t gonna be no half inch off the ends!
She probably won’t go super short, even shoulder length would be great at this point.
We’re off to Sheridan for a couple of days tomorrow. It’s been a nice break, and with the nice weather and so much work to do outside I hate to see it end. But we have 88 days left until we’re done! June we’re only home 5 days out of the whole month. So don’t panic if you don’t hear from me!
Debby, you need to come up here and sit on the deck looking out at the Big Horn Mountains and rest your weary feet! (Um, but not in June!)
