Ah, Bruce....always thinking! They are up on top of the fireplace where her tail can’t reach. I’m just praying they make the trip over the mountain! I only had to make 12, but I made 14 just in case of breakage or needing extra tables, depending on the number of ladies registered.

Ken wanted me to do the tables as 8-tops, but I think that’s way too crowded. I’d rather do 6 at a table if I can. Traditionally what we do is put a numbered, colored dot on the underside of a chair at each table, then on the underside of the centerpiece. That person gets to take the centerpiece home, or pass it on down the table to anyone else who might like to have it. Sometimes nobody wants them, which is awkward, and sometimes everybody wants one. Either way I’m only taking one of them home for me, even if I have to pitch the rest! However, with so many ladies having joined the Blue Slipper group on FB and already asking of we’re going to let them go as prizes, I don’t think I’ll have any problem getting rid of them, even if I’ve made too many. 38 more days!!!!! :ya You are all probably just as happy as I am about that - you must be getting sick of hearing it all!! :sick

I thought of another remedy, try 1part tea tree oil in 2 parts water. Put in a spray bottle to use. Keeps chiggers, ticks, fleas, mosquitoes away!

those don't bother me believe it or not, whatever these things are, they tend to like aged blood lol but yes, i need armor, i've been wearing a face net and a net jacket, spray my legs with spray w/deet but this morning i forgot to pull the net down:idunno

Armor isn't any good if you don't use it! :D
