Yep, then it can be a bit of a shock to the system to go from the cool to the hot. Just bring all your animals in the house...save yourself!

I'm sitting on the patio with the pups having my coffee. The roosters are crowing, I have 6, and it's a lovely serenade as the sun rises above the horizon. They make me smile anyway. Fortunately they're still young so not especially loud, but getting better with practice.

It's going to be another hot one here today. I think I'm done with summer now and ready for fall (that didn't take long ).
