I understand...I feel the same about medicines & doctors. At least when the doc sees me coming, she knows I really need to see her.

found out yesterday that some big company is buying out the dr's around here and putting their own dr's in, but thank goodness not mine, hes holding on til his son gets out of medical school and then take over, thank goodness, it took me years to get dr used to me and my ways, you know, come to think of it, thats what happened when my vet retired, a company came in and bought out four practices within 25 miles around us, i like the new vet but not the rates they charge, sky high like big cities, alot of people around here can't afford it so their animals won't be seen and maybe die, upsets me

I agree, a good doc is really hard to find! Ours was the 3rd or 4th one we tried after we moved here but she's a keeper!
i lost my first one due to retirement, 2nd one died, the 3rd, well he was a crook and we worked for him and he took us for over a thousand, then i tried the one i'm with now, took quite a while but finally i have him trained to my ways and we get along fine, thank goodness tho that i normally don't have anything wrong with me that he can't take care of so he doesn't have to send me to a specialist, those i don't like at all

Me neither! I pretty much told my doc I don't want a specialist unless it's absolutely necessary. She sent me to one for my hives but that lady had me on so much medication I hardly knew my own name and about lost my job. I stopped all that junk, wasn't working anyway, and found a way to manage.
