Me neither! I pretty much told my doc I don't want a specialist unless it's absolutely necessary. She sent me to one for my hives but that lady had me on so much medication I hardly knew my own name and about lost my job. I stopped all that junk, wasn't working anyway, and found a way to manage.

i told dr thurs, no more specialist, they always want to do a biopsy, i'm a big sissy and can't take the pain anymore so as long as i ain't hurting i will stick with him to try to find out what the problem is

ok, enough gloomy stuff, whats everyone going to do this beautiful sunny day?
i might go out to the greenhouse and try to transplant a apple seed i have started, i'm hoping i can get it growing, i took some appleseeds from a old, old tree that we love the taste of (me included and i'm not a apple eater normally) and one started. i have no idea how old this tree is or what kind but it was a huge ole tree when i moved up here in 1970, its so big i can't encircle it with my arms, fil almost cut it down one year cause the weight of the apple broke it in two but i talked him out of it and its still going strong with the apples and it put out new branches from the broken part, love that ole tree.
other than that not going outside til i heal a little,

well, i did it again. went out into the garden this morning like i said , since it was cool didn't think to "dress" for it, got busy transplanting cucumbers and some leeks and time got away from me and before i knew it, the bugs were after me, i now have a swollen left eye that husband says looks like i lost the fight, a bloody bite on my lower right leg and another bite on my left leg, this time the deet on my hat didn't faze them, can you say miserable? i want to use my nails to rip those bites so much, vinegar isn't helping this time and i can't use vinegar on my eye, had hospice here this afternoon so i could sign some papers regarding sister, all she could say is you need to put some ice in the washrag (i had a ice cube in it for the eye) for your eye, told her thats why i had the washrag, it has ice in it, been using it since 9 this morning. you would think that i would learn wouldn't you? apparently not
i think i need some cheese for my wine

Have you tried tea tree oil?

Can you take an antihistamine sharron? It sounds like you're having a terrible reaction to those bites!
I feel for you, I have chronic hives. If I sweat and scratch because it tickles I break out really bad and itch like crazy but antihistamines help a lot.

X2, woke my dog up at 5:30, she didn't want to go out!

It's another short work day coming up for me, go in at 1:00 and get off around 6:00.

Sunday & Monday are my lonnnnnnng days, go in at 7am and get out around 6 or 7pm. And that's why I spend a lot of Tuesday (one of my days off) sleeping.

believe me, i've tried just about everything, only thing that works is either waiting it out or going to the dr to get the shot
