The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'm going to share the story with Igor when he gets home tonight. We like anything ocean related!

Awesome! I definitely do too :D but I imagine it’s even more cool living where there really isn’t ocean. I’ve lived near oceans my whole life and I’m still fascinated by them haha and I think sharks are very misunderstood.

Also unrelated but kinda related: I’ve now also been watching videos of sharks breaching of Cape Cod. :lau not quite as impressive as the South African shark breaches that are always on shark week but cool to me since they really don’t breach here haha

We went camping this weekend and come home to this. Both boys called us last night and that is not the norm, especially for our younger son. They were both at the fair. Oldest came home to check out the damage. There are 8 power lines down a couple miles west of us. We lost power here for about 4 hours. There is crop damage and we’re wondering if a small tornado went through due to one field in a line being demolished and the next would be ok. It was like every other field in a row for a few miles was like that. Our big shed door is damaged and theres trees snapped off by the field and not due to them being rotten. We only got an inch of rain but as you all know we don’t need it. Hubby’s birthday is today:hmmHe’s got a lot of work to do.

Oh no. Those beautiful trees. So glad no one around when that big one fell!

Evening folks... So sorry I've been off the last couple days. Today, I got to say good bye to my uncle, who is much more like my elder brother. He's been fighting stomach cancer for a couple of years and it's finally won. I don't know if I have days, weeks or months left but I'm going to lose him regardless. Knowing this is the inevitable simply doesn't help.
Oh...my husband's brother had stomach cancer...had most of his stomach removed about a year and a half ago. Now, he has a tumor just under his skin.. stomach area .and, a tumor in his colen. They are saying they're not sure about them. Just going to watch them. What?. So, so, sorry! :hugs
