And at McDonalds you can eat what you work with, and get fries with that. Try taking a bite out of someone’s kid and your next meals will be served in a jail cafeteria! Kenny is working in maintenance at McDonald’s, splitting his time between the Powell store and the Cody store. He hates it but it pays better than what he was doing. Hope Sue can find a decent aid to help her.



Just pretend the golf ball is a burger patty, the club is a spatula, and the intended target is the last employee who gave you lip! Aim for that mouth! Nuffin’ to it!

Fast forward to right before my retirement. Nurses working ER were making something like 14.50 an hour. I was making about 19 an hour working as charge nurse in a rehab/nursing home.

ER nurses were still under the 15.00 per hour that the cashiers were making in the 70s.

Can some body say the system is broken?

No wonder so many nurses quit and they can't get new people to work at such a draining job.

Gotta go buy some Excedrin cause we’re apparently out and I need some.

Pounding migraine. Didn’t really sleep last night because of it.

I thought a hot shower and bed would help so that’s what I did, took a nice, long shower and was in bed by around 10.

But it didn’t help and my headache is worse now than it was last night.

At least last night it was mostly just pressure but it turned to pounding when I was trying to sleep and early this morning it was especially bad.

But thankfully Excedrin really seems to help me so I think as long as I go get some I should be able to still get stuff done.

But it just sucks because I was hoping to not have to take any drugs but apparently my body had other plans. :rolleyes:

I did at least just go grocery shopping though. Was gonna just get myself something for late lunch/early dinner and the Excedrin to have on hand then go home and clean some but ended up getting a bunch of other stuff too. Planning on making dinner tonight haha we have a bunch of eggplant so planning on making eggplant parm. Wanted to make it earlier this week but then my dad went out of town and only just got back yesterday and I didn’t want to make it just for my mom and I cause I know my dad loves it so wanted to wait. Also didn’t have all the ingredients. Anyway, just bought the remaining ingredients, and there is another eggplant ready so we’ll now have 3 so think tonight’s the night. Just picked two on Sunday and now this one. Found a good recipe I’m planning on trying. It has an extra step that apparently makes it better and crispier. We’ll see.
