I'm amazed at how quickly she can get her class under control. Another funny is wally world or the grocery store... She ALWAYS tries to hide from her current and former students. But when they see her, she gets hugs and parental praise and blushes. it's so embarrassing for her. That said, after they've gone she'll beam for the rest of the night. She worked her butt off to get her Master's degree and she's the third person in the family to have one. My cousin and his wife were the first two... If you can't tell I'm just a bit proud of her. When she was raising our kids I was pretty much always gone. And she did a great job without any support network. I didn't have a choice about being gone, I went where the military sent me. But I've seen way different outcomes from other families in similar situations.
You should be proud of her:hugsShe should be proud of you too:)

You're right to be proud of Sue...she sounds like an amazing woman :)

I have to post a picture of my nephew. This is the one who lost his eye. They just finished the colored part of his eye today. Unbelievable! You would never know it was not his real eye. They also did a Marine eye for him. I’ve never heard of it before. The doctors are donating that part of it to him as he was in the Marine’s. The 2nd picture is what the Marine eye looks like.

Wow, amazing how you can't even tell he has an artificial eye in that 1st picture! I've seen some unique eyes before, but can't say I've ever seen a Marine insignia one before. So your nephew is doing well now DMC?

I had to ask my sister if that was with the fake eye cuz it looks real. He seems to be. He’s still staying with my sister. He was living with his dad and I pray he does not go back there. Dad has had nothing to do with him since this happened. Anyway... she said he drives better now then when he was 16:lol:

I am very proud of him :love he went to school while in the military to better his self and I was/am his advocate, editor, cheerleader-when he wanted to quit I was there for him and made sure he didn't. Everyone always told him he wouldn't succeed and we made sure he did!!

Too funny! Maybe he's being more careful now.
