I get to sleep in tomorrow. I have 3 days offI get to do outdoor work this weekend. Its supposed to be nice out.

Went out and built one of the 2'x10' panels I need to make the run high enough to stand up in. And I put the back on the new cage, and built the frames for the doors. It's coming along.

We have a grove, it helpsHubby wants to get wood hauled into the basement before harvest starts and since the yard is dry and there’s no rain forecastwe are going to get on it.

Way behind and usually don't post until I am caught up ... but

I've been out prepping the coop for our 15 new chicks scheduled to be shipped Sept. 3.

2 Wellsummers
2 Partridge Plymouth Rocks
2 Swedish Flower Hens

I’m so excited! The grandkids will indeed be pleased as punch - well, the girls anyway.....Evan couldn’t care less.

Hubby has not been cutting wood, I think he is waiting for cooler weather. His back hurts him every single day, poor man. He never takes pain pills either.
