@CapricornFarm you two have been together a long time too!

If @rjohns39 were here I know he'd have his own long term marriage story too.

Loved reading the long time married stories...kind of gives hope that things can & do last.

like blooie, i met mine when i had just turned 17, and he wouldn't marry me til he had less than 6 months left in the service cause he was afraid they would ship him off to nam, so we ended up getting married a few days before i turned 19, that was in 1969 , like ken we knew we wanted to marry a few weeks after we met, been married 60 years but next month, 52 years together
now days people aren't in love, they're in "lust" and when that wears off they find they don't really even like each other

to be honest, i give husband alot of credit for sticking with me, i have a terrible temper and husband is a laid back person, he just goes outside and lets me alone til i calm down, did i mention hes also a very smart man?
i would give my life for that man tho
