The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It was a great day...due to a big thunderstorm, I got off work at 4pm

I'm constantly amazed at the consumption of alcohol at the golf course. But I've never worked at one before this one. Is this normal???
Group of 3 guys = 24 cans of beer
Group of 2 guys = 10 beers and 2 bloody mary's
Group of 4 = 4 mixed drinks and 6 beers
Group of 2 guys = 2 beers (light weights!)
Single guy = Bloody Mary, 1 beer, 1 shot

Can't remember the rest of them. But I did spend the majority of my 8.5 hour day running to the storeroom to restock, filling coolers and mixing stuff.

Did make some nice tips today though

Did you get a thunderstorm too? Had a pretty nice one here. A s rain. I'm thinking because of all the rain we had this year, is why we aren't seeing fall colors yet. It's so strange. By now we have a lot showing up .. looking up from the valley. Our mountains stayed green all year.

Good morning everyone!

We had a bit of excitement here last night. A feral cat found it's way into our house (there was a broken window in a window well we didn't know about). Once our 3 house cats and him met, the fighting began. All the snarling/screaming, things knocking over and general rampage through the house is what woke us up. That darned cat managed to find it's way back to the broken window downstairs and made his escape. It took a good part of the rest of the night to account for our 3 house cats, secure the window and for all of us to settle down. Fortunately none of our cats seem to be the worse for wear. Crazy!

That is crazy. Weird that it would enter a home like that. Glad your kitty's are ok. They can be pretty tough little buggers. Maybe it was the 3 to1 ratio that worked.

I know, 'tis afternoon for some but it's still morning for me.

@rjohns39 glad you had a good day! I hope today is good too. How are your chicks doing?

I'm sitting here waiting for IT to fix my computer and watching the clouds build up. We always get this tease but then the storms dissipate or go somewhere else. I'm hoping for rain nonetheless
