I know, 'tis afternoon for some but it's still morning for me.

@rjohns39 glad you had a good day! I hope today is good too. How are your chicks doing?

@N F C wow, crazy kitty. I'm also happy it was a cat that showed up and not something else. That could have been bad.

I'm sitting here waiting for IT to fix my computer and watching the clouds build up. We always get this tease but then the storms dissipate or go somewhere else. I'm hoping for rain nonetheless

I found this short story stuffed into the bottom of a bag today when I was cleaning (and yes I stopped to read it ) and idk why I never finished it but now I kind of regret it after rereading it. I know it’s kind of stupid and obviously needs some editing but I still really like it and wish I had haha

I know what you may be thinking “why not now?” But it was 6 years ago now so the flow is gone and I have no idea where I was going with it or what my intent was or anything like that haha

Anyway, putting it in a spoiler cause I gotta make the pics full size so it’s readable.

It was all folded/crumpled up and stuffed at the bottom for some reason.

Wow! What a day!! The girls finally met the chicks today. You’ll be happy to know that the chick Kendra “cuddled” is still alive and happy as all get-out to be back in the brooder with the rest. The other chicks are just grateful not to have been chosen.

DMC, he looks amazing and it’s fantastic that he’s back at work. Happy anniversary to your sister and hubby. Remind me on Wednesday to toss a celebratory hug your way!!

So what did you do with your unexpected leisure time, Debby, besides counting tips and consumption?

Good morning everyone!

We had a bit of excitement here last night. A feral cat found it's way into our house (there was a broken window in a window well we didn't know about). Once our 3 house cats and him met, the fighting began. All the snarling/screaming, things knocking over and general rampage through the house is what woke us up. That darned cat managed to find it's way back to the broken window downstairs and made his escape. It took a good part of the rest of the night to account for our 3 house cats, secure the window and for all of us to settle down. Fortunately none of our cats seem to be the worse for wear. Crazy!

Were your cats in the house or did they escape too?

sharron I couldn't squeeze in an answer earlier. I have to get up early to call the bus dispatcher and ask to be put on "next day's bus." He usually says NO so usually go back to bed (cursing him out in my dreams).
Hopefully I get to go to Dollar Store tomorrow- then rush to Arbys for something to eat like their milk shake and and a slider. Or cross the street for Chick-fil-a but they are too expensive- and extremely busy street

That’s definitely one of the many things that needs editing haha along with a few run on sentences and some other minor things.

Maybe I could type it and fix it? Idk.

I just happened to find it folded/crumpled/stuffed in the bottom of a bag today, wrote it about 6 years ago, forgot I even wrote it tbh haha, so idk if I will even finish it.

I think I want to though eventually.

If I do, I probably won’t have time for a while, still sooo much to do before the wedding, but I can maybe try to type it on here tomorrow or when I have a spare minute? Maybe not tomorrow, spent way too much time goofing off here and/or finding other stuff to do today instead of cleaning haha

But I will try to edit it/retype it with paragraphs here when I can.

Or maybe I could even just figure out how to crop the photos a bit for now? Like crop them into smaller sections or something?

Idk. I will figure something out tomorrow because the cleaning I did manage to do has me exhausted, tore apart my whole room, and also been up since like 8:30 and downed no less than 3 glasses of tea today so I’m crashing from the caffeine wearing off

Anyway, sorry for rambling.
