Seeing a lot of corn around here. Need to buy some. ...Rain! More Rain... thunder..more thunder . Cooler!

I froze 27 bags. We have a friend that gives it to us. We got another unneeded inch of rain yesterday and it sounds like maybe a couple more coming.

Yep, without water in the tub. But he does like to sit on the edge of the tub when someone is using the shower and watch the water.



Always nice to get some reinforcement that there is a brain Glad you weren't seriously hurt Deb, that could have been a bad one!



Nice variety of fruit trees Sharron! I used to have Key lime and lemon trees in FL, loved them. Had a grapefruit tree too but never got any fruit from it (the flowers smelled heavenly though).

yes, mil loved fruit. we used to make it a family day and go to the pinto orchards in maryland to pick cherries, we would pick different kinds of cherries bring them home and can them for the winter, mom did love her fruit, sign, those days are long gone
i can for the husband mostly, at least the fruit, i'm not much of a fruit eater except banana's and i do like huckleberrys (southerner coming out in me)
i planted lemon and orange trees in defuniak and i started a couple of orange tree from seeds that a gentleman in defuniak that gave us oranges from his tree, he said it came up by his back door and he had no idea where it came from but they grow easy
guess i will be making another cobbler today, husband just got up and was saying it was so good, it was just a small one and he finished it for supper

Finally got some rain yesterday afternoon, 1/2" in about 3 minutes.
Can't even tell that it did rain though!
