they would work at least one, rats are very intelligent, sometimes you can catch two but its buddys learn real fast

Found some DCON poison/traps and Tomcat but only for MICE! No rat traps. May have to go to TSC tomorrow. Did find this though. Gonna try it. And maybe my dad will have some traps somewhere hah

Some folks that have Jack Russell and other rat terrier breeds- have clubs were they go out and prove/ train them. Sometimes they are eager to find work for the dogs and will bring them to someone's farm/ranch/etc.

You can find threads online of them doing their job with great vigor. The pace is frenetic.
They bite a rat, shake it and toss the body aside. People will lift boards etc., exposing more rats and the dogs get to'em!

Not for the weak hearted but the dogs LOVE their work.

I wish I had someone like that near here to hire. :lau

Tempted to jokingly ask on FB if anyone has a terrier I can borrow but my mom would probably kill me if I said we had rats at our house on my FB :lau
