I am too old .... At sixty four going to learn how to can.... Read Read Read and watch you tube..... So I go by food safety practices that I can glean and then go by the book that comes with the pressure canner.... and maybe one more book on canning....

Food - I'm hungry. I started out heating up Stouffers Pizza bread, easy, peasy I've done it for ages. Well as I was taking it out of the toaster oven, my wrist kinda twisted or flexed or something and pizza bread ended up doing a face plant on kitchen floor.

Okay I cleaned up, and put the second pizza bread into the oven. Timer went off, I took it out of oven - made it almost to the kitchen table and ended up with IT doing a face plant on the floor as well.

My bad ! Nothing else to eat, so I'll have to catch up tomorrow. Going to the "way over priced grocery store" Thursday.

Bell has some good info Deb. When I was learning how, I got a lot of use out of their canning book.

i'm sorry dd, some days are like that, nothing goes right, thats when husband takes over for me
