They really are!! She is funny though. Not usually much of a “lap cat” but she will sit near you and likes you going up to her and petting her where she’s at lol and sometimes tolerates being picked up and held.

And awww that’s so sweet!!!

I picked up a book about it and there was a note that in about another 50 million years, it could be eroded away. Guess it's a good thing I saw it when I did!:lol:

The Kiowa and Comanche have the legend that 7 sisters were out playing one day and several huge bears saw them and tried to get them. The sisters prayer to the Creator to save them...so the Creator lifted the ground around them, and as the bears tried to climb up it, they would slip and fall off, thus leaving the claw marks you see today. The 7 sisters ascended into the heavens and are known as the constellation Pleiades.

I know the first batch of girls didn’t start until at least 22 weeks and they weren’t all laying until like 24 or 26 weeks so she’s about the same as the others but I just always thought Leghorns started much earlier like 16 or 18 being such good layers lol they turn 22 weeks old tomorrow. Not that I care much. Just wondering.

It's been drizzling rain off/on since yesterday afternoon and on into this morning. I think it's a good excuse to stay home and putter (or nap).
