I refinished a desk once ,it was beautiful. Had to leave it in FL when we moved.

Some people will even say they need a tank, filter, hiding spots, etc. too rather than just a bowl, they say the bowls are too small, but I think as long as they have a heater they can be fine. But I do agree that some of the set ups they sell are way too small and barely even hold like a drop of water haha a big enough bowl I think is fine.

Although I did once half a beautiful dark blue male in a planted 10 gallon tank and it was gorgeous. :love

But it was a bit too much maintaining the plants and everything but it was beautiful while it lasted haha

I used to have him in a much smaller set up, no heater, or hiding spots or anything, and I actually think he got a lot more gorgeous once I gave him more room. I think he was stressed out before.

But 10 is obviously huge, smaller or even a bowl probably would have been just fine, I’ve had plenty in bowls before, but I wanted to spoil him. :lau

He lived longer than any of my other ones too
