There has been a "no copay flu shot" sign at Hannaford for a few weeks. Thought about it 2 weeks ago, kinda forgot by the time I was done shopping. But after @sharron's bout, I went to the pharmacy right off when I got to the store last week.

Well then NO more work at the golf course for you! :D

I'm the one that works at the golf course Bruce (and I'm done for the winter) :D

Glad you got your flu shot.

I've gotten flu shots since way back. Even when they were rationing them due to shortage. I was caretaker for my elderly parents, so was allowed to have them.I can't remember when I last had the flu. But I recall what it felt like.
I used to always get them when I was working since the flu and tetanus shots came to us, could not be easier just swing by on the way to or from the cafeteria. One guy I worked with never got the shot because he never got the flu .... until the year he did and thought he was gonna die, or maybe wished he would. Got them every year after that!

Why the heck did I think NFC when I was reading a Cynthia post???? Must be senile.

When I worked for a health insurance company, they offered them free every year to all the employees. The employee nurses actually gave them and it really cut down on everyone's time out being sick.

No worries about senility Bruce. These days it's hard enough to keep track of our own lives, let alone anyone else. :)

Just came in from shoveling out the chicken's run so they'll come out of the coop. It's still snowing & blowing though so they better enjoy getting out while they can.

I was going to take my camera but seeing's how it's 17* out, all I wanted to do was dash out and back right back in.

I feel it's my duty to inform all of you as to the state of our weather (feel free to skip ahead)

It's now 14* and is supposed to drop to -7* tonight. And it's still snowing.

At this rate, I may have to send out an SOS for a dog sled team to evacuate.

The drifts between the house and the chicken coop are up to my knees. I'd cry, but then my face would probably ice over.
