It should be loads of fun dealing with the sugar high they will be on :rolleyes:
Head Start is the best place to work around here and I also like my center supervisor, but not all the politics that go with dealing with government running things for us and having to answer to them as well as all the observations we go through :barnieWe have the low income families/homeless families in our care-so lots of big brother watching.

I don’t think we have too many low income families. I assume our meals are government funded as we have to keep track of it.

Everything we do has to be documented: ECERS ( Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale) is one thing we go through and every 2/3 years we have our Federal Review which is not as bad as ECERS as the review is only less than 2 hours whereas ECERS is half the day in your room the whole time watching and taking notes on everything you and the children do/say.

I know state comes in and checks things out. They were at ours shortly before I started. I hope they come on a day I’m not there. That would be nerve wracking!!
