That is a lot of records. I can't even think of near that many to break. Temp (high/low), snowfall, winds, rain, fog, sleet, hail? What are the other ~160?


Brilliant. Not safe enough for the older kids to get to school but the younger ones and those that care for them are safe to travel?

Probably low temperature in different areas, records being broken.

I have never understood how they decide on this, but we have lived all over and TN and when we lived in N.C. are the weird ones on snow closings. In N.C. they even closed the base when we had about an inch of snow.

I'm good. Shivering a bit, but good. We started the wood stove this morning... Way too early in the season for that.

"The Amish Canning Cook book"
"Not your Mama's Canning Book"
"The Complete Guide to Home Canning" Put out by the USDA

I am making Ghee today. Once made it has a shelf stable life opened of about six months. You can even deep fry with it if you have enough. Thats how far the smoke point is moved by clarifying and cooking it for a while.

Coffee Pills a good book and Ghee, are on my plate today.

It's 66 F in the room with computer, yes, I am typing with a winter coat and hood on but, my hands are on their own. Can't work with gloves on and certainly not mittens.
