The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Sounds like a lot of hard work but rewarding too. I hope sometime you'll share some pictures of your farm with us!
You bet! it's definitely a lot more work then profit . More of a hobby that I love. Any one can get into it. Just takes work and determination. :D and good money decisions that one of the most important parts:lol:

Vary cool a chicken tractor would be my next choice as well.
husband made me three, altho we have 3 acres in pasture(have 5 acres) if i let the chickens free range i would not have chickens long, our pasture butts up again some woods and i know we have foxes, coons, hawks and owls, not sure but maybe coyotes are coming in too, forgot possums , we have them all lol, son also has a dog that wants to kill, shes gone after husbands pigs once so if she gets free, i know she would kill them and i would hate to shoot her but i would or husband would so i really like my tractors

Got a HUGE egg today. It barely fit even in the XL carton :lau those are her normal size eggs next to this one :lau kept fluctuating between 78 and 79 grams but either way, HUGE!! Her normal are only like low to mid 50s. I weighed her others. Lowest 51, highest 56. So this is way bigger than usual and bigger than any egg I’ve ever seen. Poor girl. :lau  :th
