The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone!
Let's see a big :frowto IM, Debby, Sue, Bob, and Sharron!

A beautiful, patches of dense fog morning here! 49° expected high in the 70's
A pic of a pair of Reeves pheasants that escaped 6 months ago...still alive, no predators have got them, yet. They have gone wild, I can't get close to them at all, even at night.

And Colorado has some weird laws about water... No rain catchment systems...

I mentioned that to my niece last week. 34 years old, married 3 years. DH originally from Indiana, met her when he was a marine at Camp Pendelton. Currently a firefighter in Oceanside trying to get a job in Colorado Springs for the more open spaces nearby.
Yeah, that makes sense in desert areas!:lau
I don't think you understand, CO has water laws based on who owns the water rights. If you don't own them you can't even put a rain barrel under the roof gutters. And it apparently isn't unusual for someone else to own the rights to the water on other people's property from many many decades back. Just like entities in So. Cal owning the water in No. Cal. But they don't have rights to every drop of rain or snowflake that hits your land or house.

Ya but the thought of warm weather makes it all worth it!:thumbsup
Except for the oppressive heat and oppressive humidity spring through fall.

The company I used to work for did several re-orgs while I was there. Always seemed to me it was the "big idea" folks that came up with the big picture. And they would leave making it work to the people that actually knew how to do things. You may be more valuable with the clean up ('cause ideas are cheap, it's the making them work that's tough).
And every time the new person has to make their 'mark' by changing things that are working well without understanding anything about the job.
