Granny's gone and done it again

Melissa is completely besotted with her dragon. I'm so happy for her, she's having so much fun caring for it, feeding it, providing for it, decorating its tank. This has been so good for her. It got chilled one night and she was beside herself because it turned dark. She has since bought it a hot rock and all is well.

I love lizards. One of the delights I discovered when we moved here was 7 line Skinks, brown Skinks, Broad headed Skinks. They are all just adorable little lizards and everywhere. Every year we have one get into the house when we open the deck door. They are usually out there sunning themselves on the deck. One year one got into our shop and spent the summer under our freezer. Always wondered where he hybernated.

I'm glad she's enjoying her new little dragon.

Snow is melting! YAY! It got to the mid 60s here today. Woke up this morning to find my computer mouse in Pi's bed....just the mouse. No cord. Sigh. Third one she has liberated from the computer. I ordered two more from Amazon and found a retired one to use till Saturday. Guess I'll have to remember to unplug this one and hide it tonight...hope she doesn't decided to chew on something else. Can't get too mad at her. She's starting to teeth and I imagine her gums are getting tender.

Still mad you got snow and we didn't, @microchick! DH says we got rain but we weren't able to collect rain in buckets bc it was too windy to put the buckets out! I don't think we got very much rain anyway and what there was, was driven hard and sideways. Humph! All my daffodils and other flowers got flattened. The forsythia and redbud are a little battered but still bravely blooming to some extent.

I crate my young dogs until I can trust them

I like my cordless mouse. Throw it in a drawer when I'm not using it.
I've had cordless before. They never seem to last for me for some reason and if we should forget to secure it every time we get up from the computer desk it's going to become a play toy. Just holding out for her to grow through this phase. Always an adventure.
