The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Open eyes definitely help to see things :lau
Went shopping today...still shopping...ready for the funny farm!! The one part hubby came for he can’t find. I am finding too much on the other hand.:lol:It is an absolute zoo! I went to Kohls to return a Woodwick candle (1 of 3)that got smashed on delivery. They put them in bubble wrap and shipped in a plastic bag. I ordered sheets also...they came in a box. No one was thinking there! It took me an hour to exchange this candle as the return line was so long due to people returning Black Friday items. I can’t wait to get home.

Not really possible... Those circuits are not only complex but they are layered sometimes five to seven layers within the board. The chips Alone are a maze of circuits within their microscopic envelope. I saw a blue print for a logic chip much like would be a main chip in a computer.

The diagram blown up so many times Its hard to fathom. Ran Ten feet along the hall by about ten up and down...

Unless you have a Microscope and are capable of doing Very Very agonizingly delicate soldering... You have a chance to do R and D on a circuit card. I used to hang out with the Technicion that did that kind of work. She learned it in the military.

deb
well thank you!! That sounds really tough even fixing some of the more basic stuff.

nowadays on everything, even cars you have circuit boards!! :hmm.

That must have been horribly painful. Most of us get to keep our parents for a lot longer.

It was :hitI spent a lot of years asking "why" but of course when it's a person's time to go, we have to learn to believe it's for the best. But I would give anything for the chance to spend another day with her.

So sorry Sue, :hugs that is very young to lose a parent.

Yes it was :hugs but I finally landed with a very nice foster family. While there I met Bob :love

A true treasure:hugs

One of the ways yoiu can clear that land is by running Goats and Cattle on it. They work in conjunction to remove the smaller forage... And the goats if left to their own devices will girdle the trees.

Once a tree is girdled it pretty much dies. If you have a truck access to a Steel wheel off a tractor you can pretty much pull them out of the ground. this will get the roots so tilling is a bit easier.

this video shows a man using a plain old car tire. IF he had let some of the air out of the tire his job would have been much easier... Gives a place for the chain to rest ... You can use this technique for pulling fence posts as well.

You are a very helpful person!!!:D

This will definitely work for the small stumps . But the big ones I have not figured out yet . One stump that was one of the biggest trees on the land is 2ft in diameter:eek: ... Still cutting up the tree..

I do plan on fencing some heavyer bushed land to goats. But I don't know if I could fence off a 15 acre woods

This kinda work is definitely easier then doing circuit board work...lol

Orphaned when your mom died? That is WAY too much for a kid to bear!!!!!

I am the boss/ upper management/ owner, Bruce, it was a "tounge in cheek" joke!
I know but since you have a contract, someone must cover the shift when the hiring firm wants to work, no??

i didn't love the job but did love the owner (husband) so working with him wasn't a problem, i know, really. that i'm not stupid, just dumb in some things, technical, i am stupid but smart enough to hire someone to fix it for me instead of trying it myself:D
Ha I try fixing it myself:he. Yep I have had those bad times . I did some out of my experience, duct work recently. Man I hope it all works. I will be spending the rest of my day in the basement monitoring it. I actually have some basic hvac training but nothing fancy like this. I installed a wood burning furnace.
I see way people hire people now .
