The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Going easy on the food. Kielbasa and sauerkraut, pierogies, baked ham and subs from Jersey Mikes. Also lots of cookies and birthday cake for DIL and one grand daughter. Other grand daughter turns 25 next week. I have no idea as to when they plan on celebrating that. Christmas eve will be spent with my older sister and her family.

Sounds like a feast! Enjoy the time with your family :)

I don’t think I have any relatives from there.
That is because they are long lost!!!!!

Some one once told me that chickens can carry their eggs:confused:
And .... the plastic egg showed back up in the closed community box. I sifted through all the shavings yesterday when I didn't see it, nada. This morning? Sitting high atop the shavings on the right side of the box.

I am not crazy, at least I don't think so.

I hate it when people paint hardwood pieces. I once refinished a desk and it turned out great.
Yep. If it is going to get painted it is cheap pine. Hardwoods get urethane unless they are cutting boards or other utensils, then they get butcher block wax.

Only other ugly sweaters around here are the cookies I made. They are ugly but tasty!
And yet ... THERE ARE NO PICTURES OF YOUR UGLY SWEATER COOKIES for ugly sweater day!
(In case you hadn't noticed)

Ok and then... I found a bag which I thought was canned goods. Prime Rib I bought last weekend.
:( Glad you could rescue it!!!

I know I've shared a picture somewhere but I can repeat it again:

Just because you asked and just because it's Ugly Sweater Day!

Well-I made it all the way to the end :) Now it's time to get ready for Christmas and the family coming over. Is everyone else ready? Tomorrow is the first day of two weeks of no work ( other than farm work ). We do need to take Todd to the vet and that is always fun. Then it's off to get feed and the last of Christmas dinner. Have a good evening :)

:thumbsup glad you made it okay

  • I found a seriously ughly sweater at TMaxx the other day with a Pug but it was an XLMen's sweater . I asked a sales person if they had one in a women's size and she said "I don't know." Obviously she wasn't going to ask a higher up, unless she was the higher up. :tongue:tongue:tongue
Maybe she REALLY didn't want to have a second image burned into her memory so she didn't go look.
