Not much Sharron going to take a few things over to my neighbors that helped me through my "broken hip" saga.
Play with George and his new "toy" he got for Christmas. ...and enjoy the sunshine today!
Wonder if George got new plastic wrappers or if he mellowed into real dog toys.
Got the neighbor's dog big Jolly Horse ball with handle. Bella went insane with it - then she chewed the handle off and kicked it to the curb.
Got my sister's dog a small one but, he was afraid of it. He also thinks he hears radio signals from outer space. Sorry I mean that is my sister's interpretation. She said he also growls at my brother(when he visits) because he wears a pacemaker.
Had one cocker pup that saw "ghosts"???? in the glass door and would bark hysterically at it. Another one who saw his tail wag in a mirror so he started chasing it. Yes, some Cockers are nutsy too and both were sons of the "Whirling Dervish." She was a bit "off" but very affectionate and most of her get settled down to be normal dogs.
It's the ones who are "different" that seem to live on in memories more than the well behaved, easy to live with ones.
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup coconut manna (may be called creamed coconut or coconut butter*) 1/3 cup finely chopped cocoa butter (about 1 and 1/2 ounces)
2 tablespoon powdered erythritol or other powdered sugar substitute, optional Liquid sugar substitute to equal 1/4 cup sugar, more to taste
1 teaspoon sugar-free vanilla extract
A few grains of salt
1 cup lightly toasted pecan halves
Directions: Line an 8- x 12-inch shallow pan with parchment paper or foil and place in refrigerator to chill.
Melt the coconut oil, coconut manna, and cocoa butter together in the top of a double boiler over hot, but not boiling water. Add sweeteners, vanilla, and salt and stir until smooth. Stir in pecans and pour onto chilled pan in an even layer. Place in refrigerator until hardened. Break into irregular
pieces. Candy will soften if left at room temperature for too long.
*Coconut oil is liquid above 76 degrees and solid below. It is sometimes called coconut butter when it is in a solid state. Coconut manna or creamed coconut is to coconut what peanut butter is to peanuts. It is finely ground coconut flesh, not just the extracted fat. Instructions for making it yourself are easy to find online. I also found a YouTube video for making it in a high-speed blender, but haven’t tried it; I bought mine and it was much dryer than the one shown in the video.
Makes about 12 ounces or 26 pieces, roughly 2- x 2-inches.

And .... the plastic egg showed back up in the closed community box. I sifted through all the shavings yesterday when I didn't see it, nada. This morning? Sitting high atop the shavings on the right side of the box.

When I get home I am going to install my shop in the art studio. I will also set a camera table for making good pictures of my products with good lighting and backdrops. My computer will be on that table as well. And of course since it is my bedroom Telepone internet and bed will be there as well. Did I mention my art/studio is appx 11 x 16 feet. I am adding a master bath and kitchenette as well. so I wont have to run in and out of the house to go to the bathroom.
I will do a Screen for the bed kind of for separation. It will make the room easier to heat with my oil radiator. I hope to move the pot belly down to the artstudio after getting a larger one for the main house.
The house is up on piers with a cinderblock foundation around it. The art Studio and green house room are on grade and have slab floors. The green house room is a bit larger than the art studio has drains in the floor and one wall is completely open to the outside. Its secured by a Chainling kennel panel hung on Nails. I hope to secure it better by using staples and safety wire.
It was only to keep the cats in and chickens out. but I dont want it getting bumped and falling in... LOL
