We had some excitement here last night.

There are 2 feral cats that have been living under our porch since the weather has been so bad. Last night a raccoon found their hiding spot and there was a battle that went on for over 30 minutes. Lots of thumps, screaming noises and yowling. My poor house cats were freaking out trying to figure out what was going on.

That gap under the porch is too small to be able to see into so I guess I'll maybe find out today who the victors were. If the feral cats show up looking for a handout, I'll know they won (hoping they did).

I know, they're awful. Judging by the tracks in the snow this was a small coon. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. That one little feral has been living in our garage & under the porch for almost 2 years now. I'd hate to lose him.
