I've got lymphedema too. I find that I would need a whole compression body suit. Lol. No matter what the fluid just gets pushed to the top or bottom of it.Normally it would be banking or talking to a lawyer.... But to day it was my adult day... I was gone till seven PM.
Bought shoes First in about 12 years. Bought Clothes, couple of Pairs of leggings, a Bathrobe, And Pajamas. Ordered up pressure leggings from a friend who happens to own a Saddle repair shop. He modifies half chap pattern to allow for more pressure to be applied to the leg. I have lymph edema. Mild pressure Helps it to go down.
And I bought some silver conchos at the saddle shop for making art pieces. I rarely see silver in the saddle shops any more. Its either German which is nickle, Or plated
I also got some tools to work copper sheet Trying to come up with a logo to put on a dangle to add to my jewelry.

We sell Chicago screws at my work. Come on over!Yep Ray Used to work for McPherson saddlery. He does saddle repairs and even shoe repairs. He also Worked on the harness for the Budweiser Clydesdales when they were in town. When I was repairing an old harness that I was using for training He was the one that I went to to order the metal parts... Conway buckles.. Chicago screws. Keepers. Though when I went to add parts to the harness I went synthetic. Biothane looks like leather but has a test strength of Nylon straps... And its Much Much lighter than leather.
My full leather Harness for Katee weighs almost as much as a western saddle without the Collar and Hames....
I miss driving and working with harness horses. I may get a stout pony and train him up so I can go get the mail down on the highway. Mail box is 2 miles away and all of that distance is dirt road. We'd just have to cross the road to get to the mail box. so some training for safety on roads with traffic would have to be done.
By stout pony probably something around 13 or 14 hands and about 900 pounds. I would love to have a Fijord but they are pretty pricey.

I'm hoping to get some this spring. I had 3 2 years ago and loved them. Freezer is finally empty, so time to get a couple more. I don't know about you, but I can't eat store bought anymore. It's so heavily injected with water that you can't taste the meat.Yes, we do-and your right about it tasting good
Can't wait to be done with pigs. Maybe sometime later we will get pigs again, but for now I want to just focus on birds.
Hi Debby! 50% chance tomorrow. How about you?
Hi Sean! I can’t wait for 44![]()
Good morning everyone
I hope you're all having a great 2020!
@sharron what have you got in the garden? I harvested about a dozen cherry tomatoes the other day and a few handfuls of sugar snap peas. My potatoes have sprouted and I'm thinking about putting in some lettuce today.
@N F C I'm sorry to know you haven't seen Mr. Kitty. I was really hoping he was going to be ok!
I'm not supposed to be screwing around but here I am doing it anyway. I've been on a self imposed hiatus because I'm going to get my house AND garage cleaned out, I'm purging everything. I've already made several trips to Goodwill and we have a nice sized junk pile for bulk trash next month. The hardest thing to do is the kitchen and my chicken decorations, but I've been brutal and igor isn't too happy. Meh, when he spends his time cleaning it he can have more junk.
Time to let the chickens out and get to work, take care everyone!

Mine were so spoiled. I actually cooked for them. We had over 70 lbs of green tomatoes in the fall. I'd cook up some of the with zucchini and hard boiled eggs. Silly piggies wouldn't eat them raw, but loved a cooked slop.I've never raised pigs before, but I'm reading along with all of you to get the idea of what it's like.
