The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

He’s getting a deer nudger put on mini-Shrek today and he may have to leave it there.
Um, is that like a cow catcher on a train engine?

We're dropping down into the negatives tonight (and the next few nights). :sick
We are supposed to stay above 0°F until Thursday morning. It may not make it much above 0°F during the day Thursday before going below again overnight.

That's kinda what sprang to mind for me as well.

Thought you guys might like to see this! Nifty and Sumi met up and it brought a huge smile to my face. :love I think some of you have already seen this but for those that haven’t....

Thanks for the link Kelsey. It was so lovely to see Sumi. I was wondering how she was doing.

There's a small flock of wild geese that I've only ever seen from a distance, but they must be getting a bit desperate for grass as they were out the front of our house this morning and they reappeared in the evening as well. There is some green kikuya growing nicely along a bit further.

You can see how dry it is (though that bit of the hill got disturbed with the earth works so it has dried out faster than other places). There doesn't look to be any significant rain for the rest of this month. The tropics are very active so we need an ex-cyclone to hit us (not by-pass us and hit the west coast of the South Island like they have been doing). :barnie
