@Blooie I promise to download my camera soon. I'm setting them up a bigger brooder this morning as we have one little monster. I've never had a problem quail chick before but this one is now named Dennis the Menace. Last night it kept grabbing other chicks wing tips and dragging them around, and pecking eyes. An hour back in the incubator last night yelling its head off has had a positive effect, and there's only been the occasional incident this morning. Hopefully more space will help as well.
But progress is slow setting up the brooder (I'm attempting to set it up so that no mess escapes the cage) because it is so stinking hot and humid here. I literally feel like I am melting. It's more humid outside the incubator than in!
But we got half an inch of rain yesterday according to the online converter (sounds more impressive in mm) and we've had a bit so far this morning with more on the way.
Then I can start complaining about the mud!
I saw the news about those tornados. It sounded bad.
Good luck with your dogs in the up-coming competitions @sourland and I hope the sun comes back for your training tomorrow.
@CapricornFarm I'm excited to see those babies.
