The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

just finished one but thank you, maybe in the morning?
its one of those days i've felt dopey all day so maybe its going around
happy that its melting and the temp , thats high for you isn't it? thats a good thing, maybe winter is over

I think my drowsiness had to do with waking up at 2am.

39* is good for us considering the temps we've had this winter. It's too early to say our winter is over because we can get snow in April (and maybe some in May). But a bit of melting is a good thing...muddy, but good!

I see today where they’re still clearing the wreckage, Debby. Wonder if the melting is helping or hindering that job....

BTW, a silver and white small Pit Bull was ejected from the windshield of one of the trucks....She’s friendly, probably scared, cold, and hungry. Her name is Cleo, or Cleopatra, and she is the joy of the family. The owner was injured and is (was? May have been released by now) in the hospital in Rawlins. Searchers are looking for her. I just thought if she got to the Sinclair exit and followed it, it wouldn’t be a stretch for her to end up in your area. So if you spot her, you can just call the Highway Patrol. This poor family is so devastated, both by the accident and losing Cleo. I don’t know if she got that far,or even headed your direction, but an extra pair of eyes can’t hurt. Thanks, Debby.

I hope the dog gets found soon!
Today was great! I got more work done on the run. And the youngsters got to spend time outside! Painting done, latch on the door, pop hole hooked up so I can keep it open. Shoveled a lot of dirt today as well, it is all around the coop and run now.
Here is my young silkie....

Thank you for letting me know about Cleo, I'll keep an eye out for her.

Looks a little like her proud great-gramma, doesn’t she?
Refresh my failing memory, who's kid is she?
Nice pictures of you both :D

My brother is always annoying and doesn't contact Mom because she can't send him money.
Lovely man your brother

Then last summer she had surgery to remove the excess skin. So gotta give credit where it’s due.
That's great, I'm sure she is feeling a lot better without the excess weight.

sorry I'm late, they closed my work until Monday
Due to the tornados?

good news

Back from the trip to the house. No broken anything No stolen anythng well except the shotgun. I am hoping my neighbor has it under his protection.

So outside of a deep clean I can start moving stuff over. Everythihng I will bring up will be in plastic totes. There is evidence of a rat infestation. But I figured that would happen after the cats left.

Got a lot of pictures. Am heading up there tomorrow to show the handy man around. There is one broken window that I want boarded up but that was broken when I bought the house.

my gut feeling initally was Rita was commenting on how messy the house was. initally. Was right. this time she told it with more embellishment. SMH.

I will report the shotgun to the sheriff. Bout all I need to do.

Glad it wasn't too horrible Deb! I hope you'll share some pictures with us.
