i suppose thats true too im but being a retired business owner, i see the other side too, some of our guys would take the day off cause they had things to do(hunting, fishing , hang overs) it always put us behind in jobs but if they were truly sick i didn't want them coming to work and spreading it around., to me or the customersI think some of that is the employers fault Sharron. My former employer gave us points for taking unplanned time off...collect too many points and you're fired. One young man died from complications of pneumonia because he really needed his job to support his family and didn't call in sick. Nice huh? That really changed my opinion of that employer.
no thats the homestead, from our front porch to the top of the far hill is our little 5 acres and some of the bldgs(the white is the old chicken house thats now the garden tool house)That would be nice for you Sharron, take a break from the rain!
BTW, is that a picture of your FL place in your avatar?

Wow, that is quite the long trip for an egg that was forgotten. Easy enough to forget one is in a pocket just coming back from the coop and bending over to do something! Did he ask the kitchen to cook it for his breakfast?and look what Ken found in his jacket pocket when he took it off!
Good reason to turn them around at the door and tell them to not come back. That's true. When my boys were little, someone brought their kid to day care with measles. Their excuse was they were doing everyone a favor by exposing all the other kids to it because they figured everyone was going to get it any way.![]()
i always love it, thats why we put a trailer on it many years ago to live in til we inherited it, the plan was to move into the house when his mother and father were no longer there but by the time that happened i didn't want to move over, husband had made the trailer into a small house and i had all the luxurys and we would have had to start over in his parents place, son can do it since hes younger lol, the main thing is the land, i have pastures for whatever animal or animals i choose, a small barn, a big area to garden in, what more could i ask for, oh yeah a husband that loves me and works his heart out on the placeThat's nice to have a family place like that.
Hi Debby! It’s supposed to be a nice weekend...46 today and 54 tomorrow.I'd be upset too about someone sending a sick kid to daycare, especially with all the news about the virus that's going around.
Hope this weekend is nice for you DMC!
Happy Saturday Debby!Good morning everyone, happy Saturday!
I hope she didn’t infect too many kids.sorry about that dmc, mothers or fathers have been doing that since both started working, they don't want to stay home with the kid unless they have to, the almighty dollar you know
Some people should not have children! That's true. When my boys were little, someone brought their kid to day care with measles. Their excuse was they were doing everyone a favor by exposing all the other kids to it because they figured everyone was going to get it any way.![]()
