My friend just sent me this.

That sleeping state is also called “torpor”. I never heard the “bromate” term before. Here I have 4 breeds of hummers, I am crazy about them. If a plant doesn’t attract and feed them, I won’t plant it in my yard. My yard is actually certified by the a National Wildlife Federation as a National Wildlife Habitat, primarily because of the hummingbirds I have. :love
I stand corrected.... :th Brumate is a term for Reptiles not only wrong term but wrong species... Torpor is for warm blooded animals. We have a Gecko in our family and I hear the Term Brumate quite often during the winter.

Never counted the little flyers, but it hasn’t been unusual to have to keep 11 feeders going regularly.

I don’t know why it is, but even with our normal sized dogs I’ve just never been able to tolerate bed sharing with them. Nope. They have their beds, I have mine! And letting Fee in our bed would mean Ken and I would have to find other places to sleep!

Tell her Happy Birthday from me! Four years old.....doesn’t take long, does it?

Okay, Ken’s impatiently waiting for me to get my jacket on so we can get out of here. Gotta drive to Thermopolis this morning to pick up the puppies. We’re taking Fee with us so she can meet them while they’re safely crated, and that gives her two hours to get used to them. Wish us luck!

Looking forward to puppy photos. Fiona is so adorable.:love

Good morning everyone 😊 Happy Sunday

they just posted last night that county schools will be closed until March 30th , not sure that means Head Start as well 😩

Sue, if the schools are closed, will they have to be open all summer to make up for all this lost time?

Enjoy your g-daughter's 4th birthday!

Have a good trip Blooie (you're probably there already)! Hope you'll share pictures of the new pups!
