DH got just got the word...no hiring employees for the golf course for an uncertain amount of time.

In the meantime, people are stuck at home bored and are calling about wanting to come out to play. I guess some just don't understand what home confinement means. :rolleyes:

Read a story on the online news about a woman who survived cancer in her life, but the new virus killed her. Her husband had passed a few years ago. She had 6 kids, some young and the two oldest 22 and 24. I hope they will be taking some to raise.

Reading that I had a really bad crying jag. Had to go straight to bed early to try and pull myself together. Didn't that poor woman suffer enough? Think I'm feeling especially guilty - never thought I'd get to be this old (72)). Wondering why I have!

My sister has some major health issues(she's the oldest), my brother is the baby in the family and he has major health issues. They both eat healthy stuff & veggies. I do NOT!! My brother works out at cardiac rehab 3-4 times a week. I set records for sleeping the most hours during the day. Life is really strange.

That is really sad. It upset me to read that a 39 year old women in the US died and they suspect Covid-19. She was eventually tested for it (after they initially told her she wasn't in an 'at risk' group) but was still awaiting the results. The symptoms fit and she had no secondary health conditions. This girl felt like she was getting better but then her partner found her dead one evening.

She's the same age as me. That gave me a couple of very restless nights.

Hope they won't be doing a blood draw on the baby. Had that with my infant son many years ago and I was crying louder than he was. Very, very hard for a mother to witness.

I don’t know if they did or not. I imagine everything they did was a swab. She is at home and they are quarantined.

Good afternoon/evening everyone. @007Sean good to see you back!

I was pleasantly surprised that there were some groceries back in the store today. My mom went shopping during senior hours and got everything on her list. Good news that. My dad is a very picky eater, but he's 90 and allowed I guess.
