Yep, there was a hen also, I haven't seen her for about a month now? I don't know whether something got her or she just left the area. I think the long tail has actually helped him from being caught...at least by a hawk, too big for a hawk?:idunno
He is pretty aggressive, he attacks George, so he could take on a coon, or hawk and probably win :idunnohis spurs are about 2" long and sharpe!
I had another male that did put up fight and killed a feral cat, so I don't know how long he'll last in the wild.
