The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

My Mom raised meat rabbits when I was a baby so one of the first things I ate was rabbie. Later we would hunt jack rabbits and make rabbit stew.

Yes, I like rabbit
During some of the steel strikes in the 60's and 70's, Dad always found meat... Not just for us but for the neighborhood. When I was old enough, the late 60's early 70's we did night rides and brought back several rabbits, enough to feed a dozen families. Later in life, Mom and I had a deal... If she woke up to a Rabbit soaking in the sink, we'd have fried rabbit, biscuits and gravy for Breakfast. Most of those found themselves in the sink around 4AM.

@sharron I'm a firm believer in Keto. I lost 238 pounds in three years on a keto diet. Dr. said it saved my life. :)
wow chrissy. wish you were closer so we could visit once in a while, my problem besides liking to eat out once in a while is husband eating things in front of me that he knows i'm not eating,he was doing a little keto and had lost about 20lbs but he started eating bread and cookies again( his cookies are keto most of the time since i make them for him)
you're my idol for losing that much all on your own

My older sister passed away at 34 from heart failure, and I was following right behind her.
Fear motivated me for the first few months... but it was actually pretty easy... I like meat. :)
I had a cousin that died of a heart attack at age 38. It does open your eyes!
