hes trying to make it nice for me, i have to bend down and remove a long 6' board to open the old door now(its kinda broken at the bottom, cold air runs thru) and with my hip the way it is now,really hurts to do that, heck to get old

That's sweet he's going to fix it up for you! I am beginning to understand why my husbands grandpa said energy and dexterity are wasted on the young :gig I have the desire but my body says, "wait a minute, are you crazy?"

I got up at 2.15am this morning (it's evening here now) because I thought it was morning. It was just the very bright moon shining through the curtains! So I just checked on the chicks and went back to bed.

DH has had to go down to Auckland for work because of an incident at his work that he now has to interview everyone involved about to try and get to the bottom of what went on. He needed a letter from his boss in Australia stating that it was necessary for him to travel for work because, unless you are an essential worker, there still isn't supposed to be inter-regional travel. His boss took all day to get that to him.

We have had no new cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand for the last two days, but I'm sure that won't last because there are reports of potential exposure at a hospital in Auckland, and I'm sure there are other cases incubating. But that is hopeful.

That is good news on the Virus!

California is going to slowly start reopening this week. It make you nervous and hopeful to hear that!

Big parts of Davis had an internet outage yesterday. Someone driving in pipes for a peer hit a major fiber line and the line had to be dug up to splice it back together. I was fine is Woodland but some of our staff lives in Davis

getting there im, i think it will be nice once he finishes it, he has the front and one side to go, guess we will have to go shopping for a new door, the other was a home made out of the fiberglass paneling but he wants to do it different , i don't care, i just want a door i don't have to prop shut. a latch type would be so nice lol
then i will clean the inside really good and get rid of a lot of things that my packrating ways doesn't need or hasn't used for years(and just as soon as i throw it away, will need it:lau )
