The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You're absolutely right you'll need something the minute you toss it out! I hate that. Sounds like things are coming along great. Latching doors are nice, my shed has a piece of lattice held in place with a cement block
The thing that usually happens here is I go Buy something and then find the part here in my saved stuff!

I am beginning to think it is better to buy things as you need them and not keep a lot of spares around.

Look what I found and so appropriate for today, Tuesday, May 5th:

i usually know where i put things if i sit and think about it, can tell you things that happened years ago but can't remember where i put things last week:p

Our daughter's family most likely would because they love the beach and all that stuff, but our son's family not so much. Son lived an hour away and daughter is still in Virginia so around 12 hours.
Gotta have a lot of money to visit Hawaii often ;)
My sister and brother-in-law lived there for 2 years. It can be expensive to live there plus you kinda get "cabin fever". If you want to go to another island you need to fly. And then you need to get transportation on that island. Heat and A/C are cheap though, most people don't have either. But plan to spend some money on Tupperware. My sister said EVERYTHING edible that can grow mold will do so and SOON. Have to put it in Tupperware as soon as you get it home from the store.

had a brother in law that started things and never finished anything
I kinda resemble that "remark". I do get some things finished but there are some that drag on for a REALLY long time. Out of sight, out of mind, other things pop up and become more important.

Thanks for the tips on living in Hawaii!

It sounds like a nice vacation but not a place to live
