True to a certain degree, but you can 'pick' to not engage with toxic members of your family. I 'divorced' myself from one sister on the day that we buried Mom, and it is one of the best things that I have ever done.

I saw that, sad news for sure. He was such a funny guy and around forever. At least he's with his wife now.
