My parents lived in Denver for many years so we spent a lot of time in CO. The last time, DH and I went through Durango in 2017. You're in a pretty part of the state!

We went through some high scary pass around there, but I can't remember the name of it. Whatever it is that's close to Mesa Verde.

Red mountain pass is beautiful, and the scariest road I've ever been over.

That's the longest 45 miles you'll ever travel. My grandson loves that road, but he's only 11, so he doesn't know any better
