There was a fire at the next county over this weekend. It is under control now and people going back home. 100 homes were threatened from that fire. Next Door said there was one south of us so that move it down wind of us.

Yes!

Some are closer than others. Usually here it is a freeway fire. Most of the bad fires are in the foothills and mountains. Then we can have terrible smoke.

Here it gets so dry that a spark from a loose trailer hitch chain will start a fire in the median.

Two years ago a fire on hwy 113 went up a hill and burnt two cars in a parking lot on campus

First Nutter Butters and then Korean beef tacos...I'm drooling all over my keyboard!

The tacos are amazing!! They top them with a lightly seasoned cole slaw type thing with a rice vinegar dressing, OMG. Totally drool worthy!

Busy day! Be like me and go in and grab the first color that catches your attention. I like the 2 colors I chose.
I am on load 3 of laundry. I vacuumed and washed out the dust in my car. I am doing 20 dozen mini cupcakes and 3 dozen regular cupcakes(Friday)for a graduation and my nephews 30th birthday on Saturday so I wanted it clean for delivery. I get an oil change at 1:00. They’ll be glad they won’t have to vacuum

I change my mind too much to just grab and go.
Sounds like your day is busy as well! I would also like to see your cupcakes, my mom enjoys seeing pics too. She used to be into cake decorating and was always baking for someone.

Me too, I like being home. Unfortunately no one will drive my groceries all the way out here, pick up my mail from the post office and then change my car's oil & rotate my tires.

But when you move will you have those options? I gotta tell ya, I used the shopping service for the first time and it was fantastic!

We are under a red flag fire warning due to low humidity and sustained north winds today until 8pm

I was wondering about your winds. If it's gusty and windy here it usually is there too. The cartoon made me laugh but really, it's almost too accurate.
