The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

The tacos are amazing!! They top them with a lightly seasoned cole slaw type thing with a rice vinegar dressing, OMG. Totally drool worthy!

I change my mind too much to just grab and go.
Sounds like your day is busy as well! I would also like to see your cupcakes, my mom enjoys seeing pics too. She used to be into cake decorating and was always baking for someone.
Oooh you have me thinking of traditional Bulgogi... :drool I can do the meat the traditional bbq, and know how to make one type of kimchee, but the variety of fermented veg served on the side with rice and lettuce leaves to form the wrap. I have no idea what to google. Next time (if ever) I find myself at a traditional Korean restaurant, I'll have to write down what everything is called and learn how to make it.

But when you move will you have those options? I gotta tell ya, I used the shopping service for the first time and it was fantastic!

I was wondering about your winds. If it's gusty and windy here it usually is there too. The cartoon made me laugh but really, it's almost too accurate.

I would guess at least some of the grocery stores in Casper do delivery service  And a lot of the restaurants do home delivery. Best thing? Getting my mail dropped off in the box right outside the front door! (I've mentioned that before, but I'm still excited by the idea.)

You should share the Bulgogi recipe in the Baker's thread Bob! I've never made it, but it is very good.

I used to make cupcakes, cookies, or fudge all the time. But, since being here alone, I had to cut it all out. Didn't want to break any records for pigging out on all that.

I have to limit making stuff around here too DD, with there just being the 2 of us things can add up (and not in a good way).

I know!

I need to get some new particle masks for Ash season

I was thinking the mail thing lol. I'm sure that'll be a huge plus!

That and someone to pickup the trash would be nice, but we'll live without it. It's a half mile trip (round trip) to the mail box over 400' of elevation. So go down 400' over a quarter mile and then walk back up the 400' over a quarter mile. And it's 97* out there right now.

Will do. Have to find it though...

Yep, the trash thing will be a lot handier in Casper too. There's an alley behind our block so that's where the trash gets picked up...just take it our back door and to the alley. That's a nice little hike to get your mail.

Oh man, I love Bulgogi!! My Korean food experience is somewhat limited still, but I like much of what I've made so far. Thai also.
